Important Friends

 

Friends are important.

 

They always make me smile.

 

They help me in a pinch.

 

They are by my side when I’m crying;

 

However, I become alone when we quarrel.

 

A country also becomes thoroughly solitary when it collides with others in war.

 

If the relations are bad and if you do not understand others

 

It will cause discrimination and fighting.

 

The number of smiles increases when we are getting along well—

 

There will be no fighting, and we all can be happier.

 

By increasing the number of such countries, we won’t need to have weapons.

 

How nice it will be

 

If a lot of countries around the world would become such a country

 

As soon as possible.

 

I want to live in such a country,

 

And I want to keep on laughing with my precious family and friends forever.

I’ll understand its meaning

Having been born in Japan

Blessed with many things very much.

It is common to go to school.

It is common to study.

 

The more common situation in the world is

That children cannot have such things

In many other countries.

 

For the people

who should be blessed more

I will think about what I should do

 

Thinking of the status quo of the world

For everlasting peace

The people around the world

Must grow more food

Let’s make friends

With everyone

 

You won’t get anywhere by war with people
